General

DwellVerity is a premium marketplace that connects homeowners with licensed, insured, and verified home inspectors across the United States. We handle scheduling, payments, and digital report delivery so you can focus on making informed decisions about your property.
We currently serve New York and New Jersey, with plans to expand to additional states. You can search for inspectors in your area using our marketplace search tool.
Every inspector on DwellVerity must provide valid licensing credentials, proof of insurance (E&O), and pass a background check. We also monitor customer reviews and trust scores to maintain quality.

Booking

Simply browse inspectors in our marketplace, select the one that best fits your needs, choose a date and time, and complete your booking. You'll receive an instant confirmation.
Yes. You can reschedule or cancel up to 24 hours before your appointment at no charge. Late cancellations may be subject to a fee. Visit your booking dashboard to manage appointments.
We recommend booking at least 3–5 business days before your desired date, though many inspectors offer availability within 24–48 hours depending on the season and location.

Payments

We accept all major credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover) and ACH bank transfers. Payment is processed securely at the time of booking.
Yes. All payments are processed through encrypted, PCI-compliant gateways. Funds are held securely until the inspection is completed and the report is delivered.
The price you see at booking includes the inspector's fee plus the DwellVerity service fee ($49). Optional add-on services (radon, mold, sewer scope, etc.) are charged separately.

Reports

Reports are typically delivered within 24 hours of the inspection. You'll receive a notification via email and can access the full digital report from your dashboard.
Your report includes a detailed summary of findings, photos of any issues, an overall property condition rating, and recommendations for repairs or further evaluation.
Absolutely. You can share a secure link to your report with anyone — your real estate agent, contractor, or family members. Permissions can be managed from your dashboard.

Cancellations

You may cancel or reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before your scheduled inspection. Cancellations made within 24 hours may incur a fee of up to 50% of the inspection cost.
If an inspector cancels, we will notify you immediately and help you reschedule with the same inspector or find a replacement at no additional cost. Your payment will be fully refunded if you prefer.
Refund requests can be submitted through your dashboard or by contacting our support team at support@dwellverity.com. We process refunds within 5–7 business days.
